The students of Psychology attended “Manosrujana”, a workshop organized by the Department of Psychology, Jain University, Bangalore on 27 April 2013. Raina, Manisha, Radhika, Satshya, Rashmi, Deepthi, Marissa and Refana Participated in the Fest and Workshop.
It began with a competition, “Movers and Shapers” where a group had to represent a disorder in the form of a dance and the students led by Raina D’Mello bagged the second place. Another event, “I am the One” was where a participant had to impersonate a psychologist and contend that their theory was still relevant in the present age and Satshya Tharien bagged the first place.
The events were followed by two workshops – “Dance as a Tool for Therapy” and “Innovations in the Teaching-Learning Process”, followed by a panel discussion on “Nurturing Creativity: Key to Success in the current Socio-Cultural Scenario”.
