The hospital provides treatment for people affected with mental illness such as schizophrenia, manic, dissociative disorders. Apart from theory we get a practical idea of what the diseases are and how people get affected by it. Students observed the patients and casually interacted with them.

After the interaction with patients, Mr Nagaraj Murthy, the clinical psychologist briefed us about the hospital and treatments provided.

We the students are grateful to the hospital and Department of Psychology for giving us this opportunity to learn more about
mental illness.
